Das Biest Performance Project created Strawberries, a dance film sponsored by Barefoot Collective, in September. Das Biest will transform this screendance into a live performance adhering to social distancing precautions.

Das Biest Performance Project is the Brain Baby of choreographer and poet Sophie Marie. The project includes dance and writing which focus on fear, emotional mutilation, queerness, and the divinity of womxn.

The project is currently based in Tacoma, WA.

zoe | juniper develops the company's first-ever dance film, ordinary grief / the people to come. This piece has been commissioned by Emerald City Music for their Beethoven Festival.  2015 Guggenheim Fellow and 2013 Stranger Genius award winner zoe | juniper (zj) is a Seattlebased dance and visual arts team The Boston Globe describes as a “crazy dream you just can’t shake.” Cofounded by choreographer Zoe Scofield and visual artist Juniper Shuey, the company creates stunning multidisciplinary dance performance and installation works.

Alice Gosti, creator of MALACARNE, creates her next installation of  Liminale. Through the medium of live zoom performance,      Liminale explores the desire to continue to experiment with performance and with ways to be together in this time of isolation and distance. 

How can dance and performance exist in this moment we are living in without compromising in any way the heath of the performers or the health of the audiences.
