this supply of tomorrows
A dance exploration of labor, work and rest. This outdoor piece includes improvisation, site-specific choreography and energetic movement styles. Originally a film, This Supply of Tomorrows was adapted for a live performance with help from Seattle Center. The performance is approximately one hour long.

The onstage performance solid objects/VOIDS proposes necessary expressions of radical intimacy and devotion with architecture, light, bodies, and objects. The piece includes a new electro-acoustic score and sound installation by composer Zeena Parkins, lighting design by Madeline Best, and costumes by womxns rites. Featuring Kravas and company members Aretha Aoki, Cecilia Eliceche, Joey Kipp, Jennifer Kjos, opal, and Symone Sanz in collaboration with three of Minnesota’s most distinctive dancer/choreographers: José A. Luis, Judith Holo Shuǐ Xiān, and Chris Schlichting.

DITCH will take a new form in installation and performance.
The installation will include the custom fabric walls and tiled floor which premiered at The Frye Art Museum. Cherdonna is excited to be working on a new matriarchal MomDonna doll, a new addition of a dance film that will be integrated into the space, developing a brand new sound score, and re-imagining a durational trio with Cherdonna and DONNA members, Carlin Kramer and Symone Sanz, for a live performance series.
